It's a shame, Jace, that while your points are (kinda/sorta) well taken, you blow a hole in your credibility by using 'your' for "you're".
Sadly, younger people -- and a majority of people are 'younger' to me these days! -- seem less likely than their Boomer and Silent generation elders to pay attention to grammar rules. You may not (and probably don't) agree, but grammar does matter -- if you want people to truly understand what you're saying.
Yeah (not yea!), I know you'll think I'm nit-picking (do you even know what that means??), but you were making a point; so am I!
